“As a creative designer and writer, I took time during the pandemic to write  and self publish a children’s book about my beloved corgi, Bob. I quickly realized that, despite my visually creative strong suit, I didn’t have the expertise or know how to create a website that accurately portrayed my personality, the joy of the story, or the experience I wanted the reader to have; I needed to work with someone who could understand me, the project and product, and bring that vision to life digitally.

I turned to Soho Creative and have been amazed by what they created for me. Michael and Rebecca started the process by sending me a series of questions about myself, my process, the book, the characters in the book and what I wanted my goals to be. In doing so, they not only helped create the body of the website; they also helped me to better understand my own creative process and build on that foundation.

They interviewed me to get a sense of the visual aspect of the website and create a portfolio of collateral for me to review as well as researching children’s book sites to get a sense of the consumer I would be appealing to. This extensive thought processing  and research was key to the success of the website and the success of my book!

Soho Creative took a full day to do a photo shoot for the website which included still photography and video, all of which were key to the personal feel of the website. Michael and Rebecca were highly professional but also so easy and fun to work with and made the entire experience non stressful and collaborative.
